“Romantic mellow rock is our forte.” We compose songs which express a lover’s feelings, inspiration, hurtings, feeling of being left alone, and happiness inspite of problems. We cater to the young at heart, to people who appreciates music of love. It is not a surprise then that the “Prodigal” band was born in the romantic month of February. The name “Prodigal” was conceptualized as suitable for the group with the band members’ desire to perform and play music, inspite of objections by some parents.

The band spends regular time in composing, rehearsing, which explains the fast improvement in their performance. They are open to constructive suggestions to help them improve their craft.

The band has performed in various bars & restaurants, public places such as Fluid lounge, Vida de malate, Penguin bar, Night wish Bar, Amoranto Stadium, etc. playing with famous bands like Hale, Bamboo,etc…They also performed at “RJ” TV in the program “Gimme a Break”, with TV host Gus Aldequer, For all most 3 months, live at Channel 29.

The “Prodigal” had their first mini-concert on January 19, 2008 at the Carmona Sports Complex, Makati City where they performed with 15 other bands. This was sponsored by “Goodah”, and “Crystal Clear”.

Presently, the group is working on a contract with “Goodah” for the jingle song “Tara Na”, which they composed for the food chain.
